My priority is listening to my clients and developing a unique design concept that is practical, functional and represents their design aesthetic. I collaborate closely with clients to make their designs a reflection of who they are; therefore, every project is unique. 

I specialize in understanding my client’s vision, to implement their visions, and sometimes to create vision for them if they don’t have one. I specialize in all aspects of designing a client's residence, developing design concepts for my clients and decorative schemes for all areas of the project. I prepare detailed documents and specifications for all work to be performed by contractors. I select all finishes and materials, wall and floor coverings, furniture and fabrics and design all window treatments. I specify millwork/cabinetwork details and approve samples and shop drawings. I make periodic project site visit to observe that work is being done in accordance with acceptable practice and inspect installation.  I will look after your interest in every reasonable manner to ensure a successful completion of the project.  Sometimes it is as simple as recovering existing furnishings, selecting new paint colors, wall coverings and designing new window treatments. I call this editing or updating! On the other extreme, a full renovation of an existing interior and redesigning something totally new.

Interior Designers work with details of interiors including kitchen and bath design, custom cabinetry and built-ins, color schemes, flooring specifications, and wall and window treatments. Designers can create a master plan for the interior of your entire home. As an interior designer, I am in particular very sensitive to scale.
Architects, on the other hand, consider the design of the exterior and the general dimensions of the interior, without necessarily considering the details that the interior designer considers including placement of furnishings.
The ideal design team might consist of both an Architect and an Interior Designer in order to cover all aspects of your projects requirements.

I have worked on projects ranging from contemporary to traditional. I enjoy mixing styles and periods. I am qualified to work with all types of styles and concepts so that I can provide whatever is needed. In many cases it is much more interesting to work with a client that has unusual tastes or requirements. It can be much more of a challenge. It is most rewarding that my clients think I bring their taste up to a new level; and for that, they feel their project is my best work.
